This polar vortex that is passing through a wide swath of the United States has led to some of the VORG’s baseball brethren to proclaim their cities’ temperatures in a slightly different fashion.  To wit:

So according to my phone the temperature is Babe Ruth and the wind chill is minus Yogi Berra.

This got us thinking about how each major league city could describe the temperatures experienced this past Monday.  Using data from the National Weather Service (both US and Canada), and Baseball Almanac’s compendium of team uniform number histories, here is what we’ve come up with:
