Cost of “12 Days of Christmas” – Baseball Edition

Perhaps you’ve seen the article each year where they cost out what you’d have to spend to give your beloved each of the items mentioned in “The 12 Days of Christmas“.

I thought it would be cool to see if we could come up with the baseball equivalent of this, using ballplayer names.  I had to estimate a couple of salaries for some old-time players, but otherwise I took the 2016 equivalent of the player’s highest salary.  Oh, and I also included a “John Adams”, who is the drummer perched in the last row of the outfield bleachers that you always hear at Indians games.

So …. you got $56 million to spare?
