Out of the Park 18 Sims the 2017 Season

Using the fantastic Out of the Park 18 game, I simmed the upcoming MLB season.  In the end, the Cubs once again took a seven-game World Series decision over the Cleveland Indians.

There were some surprises along the way:

  • The Orioles lost 100 games
  • The Rays won 94
  • The Royals finished one game worse than the White Sox
  • Neither the Phillies nor the Braves reached 70 wins
  • The Cardinals finished 14 games under .500
  • Arizona won the NL West, thanks to 19 wins from Greinke and 18 from Miller
  • San Diego managed to win 79 games
