So, using the Retrosheet game logs, it turns out that the same team has faced two different pitchers with the same last name in consecutive games nearly 200 times between 1914 and 2015! Of course there are brother combinations in there, like the Perrys, Niekros and Deans, but there are quite a few more without a familial link. Here they are, in team-by-team order:
